The brand new Naked & Famous Denim Harionago Selvedge are 14oz Japanese selvedge jeans with a hairy surface texture, made from 100% cotton and rope-dyed in indigo. The Harionago Selvedge fabric embraces raw, expressive character and visible irregularity, just like its namesake inspiration: the Japanese yōkai Harionago, a supernatural figure whose name translates to “Barbed-Hair Woman.” The unsinged fibers and rough texture of the jeans mirror Harionagos wild hair. Custom artwork by Canadian artist Jacqui Oakley reinforces the narrative connection between folklore and fabric.
The True Guy is a straight leg fit with a regular rise along with extra room in the seat and thigh that falls straight from knee to hem.
