New from Naked & Famous Denim for Fall 2025 is the Sea Island Selvedge jeans - a 12oz Japanese selvedge denim crafted from Virgin American Sea Island cotton. Sea Island cotton is an ultra-rare, extra-long staple cotton, renowned for its silky luster, uniform texture, cashmere-like softness, and exceptional durability. This cotton has a rich and storied past dating back to cultivation in the West Indies in the 1600's. After nearly being wiped out in the 1920's, seeds that were tucked away in a seed vault in 2015 were planted in Texas and New Mexico, reviving the cotton. This American-grown strain is genetically identical to the original variety and is now being used by select Japanese mills, including those of Naked & Famous Denim. Inspired by 1920s-era denim, the Sea Island Selvedge also offers finishing details including contrast stitching, a durable paper patch, antique copper hardware and a pink selvedge ID.
The Strong Guy fit is a relaxed straight fit, built with a high rise and fuller in the seat with a thigh that falls to a wide leg opening.

HOW TO MEASURE:
- Button up the jeans
- Lay the jean out flat with the top front edge of the waistband even with the top back edge of the waistband. Pull tightly
- Measure from one edge of the waistband to the other
- Double this measurement
