Bold slub yarns are used in the warp, while an intentionally flat yarn is used in the weft, allowing the slub texture to read clearly across the surface. The fabric is rinsed to soften the hand and enhance comfort from the first wear out of the bag. This treatment also helps the vertical slub present itself earlier, creating contrast and dimensionality while maintaining structure. As the denim ages, the vertical texture produces distinctive fade patterns driven by movement and wear.
