Naked & Famous Denim Shinigami Selvedge - Weird Guy Jeans

It's back! The Naked & Famous Shinigami Selvedge; a robust, solid black, 18oz heavyweight Japanese selvedge denim.  The core of the Shinigami Selvedge is its slubby texture, a testament to the art of denim weaving, as a result of blending extra slow, low-tension weaving techniques with heavyweight, irregularly shaped, big slub yarns.  The yarns vary in thickness throughout, lending the denim a unique, flame-like appearance with a focus on vertical texture.  The low-tension weaving adds to the fabric's irregularity, giving it a handwoven quality. The yarns are sulfur dyed, and due to their size irregularities, they fade at different rates, revealing a beautiful spectrum of grey and black tones as the denim ages.  Long-time Naked & Famous Denim fans might find this fabric familiar, as it has been featured in previous collaboration collections. 

The Shinigami Selvedge is sanforized and is meticulously cut, sewn, and crafted in Canada.  It features tonal stitching, a redline selvedge ID, a thick black leather patch, and tonal blacked-out hardware.
