The brand new Naked & Famous Denim Galaxy Selvedge is a 13oz Japanese selvedge denim blend, using indigo rope-dyed warp yarns and a nep heavy weft. What it creates is a fabric with lively visual complexity with small neppy clusters and knots of unmilled fiber and organic irregularities introduced into the weave, producing surface highlights and scattered textures that resemble star fields across the denim. The rayon in the weft gives the denim a soft hand and enhances drape, giving Galaxy Selvedge a smoother, more fluid feel than a 100% cotton fabric. When cuffed, the nep accents and the interior weave becomes even more pronounced, revealing a dramatic and playful texture on the inside.
